One list displays output of all processes and the events created by each process. Another list display output of all processes and the events attached to each process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>list_events<\/strong> -e 33554448<br \/>\nThe above command will list the process that created and is attached to the event with event id &#8211; 33554448<\/p>\n<p><strong>list_events<\/strong> -E delta_flush<br \/>\nThe above command will list the process that created and is attached to the delta_flush event<\/p>\n<p><strong>list_events<\/strong> -E advance_mode<br \/>\nThe above command will list the process that created and is attached to the advance_mode event. The output will not contain the actual process that created this event due to the process no longer running.<\/p>\n<p><b>list_events\u00a0<\/b>-p 2713641<br \/>\nThe above command will list the events that have been created and are attached to the program with the process id = 2713641<\/p>\n<p><b>list_events\u00a0<\/b>-P gp_test<br \/>\nThe above command will list the events that have been created and are attached to the gp_test program. If multiple gp_test programs are running, the created and attached events will be displayed for each running instance of gp_test. Each instance of gp_test will be uniquely identified with the corresponding process id.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<h3>Notes:<\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Up to 7000 events can be listed in the output.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Sometimes the output for a process does not contain the process name. This is due to the process no longer existing.
