Specify one of the following modes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>on_c to turn on Closed loop ramping.<\/li>\n<li>off_c to turn off Closed loop ramping.<\/li>\n<li>rate_c: specify the value of Closed loop ramp rate.<\/li>\n<li>on_o to turn on Open loop ramping.<\/li>\n<li>off_o to turn off Open loop ramping.<\/li>\n<li>rate_o: specify the value of Open loop ramp rate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p>ctrler<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>Specify the name of the controller performing the control.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p>rate<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>Optional for most modes but required for on_o mode. Specify the ramp rate value in units\/sec or the label of a real variable containing the rate.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<h3>Example:<\/h3>\n<dl>\n<dd>\n<p><strong>u_ramp<\/strong> on_c fuel_in_temp<br \/>\nThe above command starts ramping in the closed loop mode for the fuel_in_temp controller.<\/p>\n<p><strong>u_ramp<\/strong> rate_o fuel_in_temp 1.5<br \/>\nThe above command sets the open loop ramp rate for the fuel_in_temp controller to 1.5 deg_F\/sec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>u_ramp<\/strong> on_o intake_man_temp 5.8<br \/>\nThe above command turns on the open loop ramping for the intake_man_temp controller AND sets the ramp rate to 5.8 deg_F\/sec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>u_ramp<\/strong> on_o intake_man_temp int_ramp_rate<br \/>\nThe above command turns on open loop ramping for the intake_man_temp controller AND sets the ramp rate to the value contained in the variable int_ramp_rate.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<h3>Notes:<\/h3>\n<dl>\n<dd>\n<p>The mode argument may be either upper or lower case.<\/p>\n<p>Enabling ramping and specifying the ramp rate can be combined for the open loop mode ONLY.<\/p>\n<p>Use the controller name that is specified in the control specs file under the keyword @USER_CTRL_LOOP.
