Specify one of the following to indicate the element(s) to update:<\/p>\n

  • FEEDBACK VARIABLE<\/li>\n
  • BOTH<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

WRITE | READ<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Specify one of the following:<\/p>\n

  • WRITE to modify the user control specs file with new
    \ngains and\/or feedback variable.<\/li>\n
  • READ to modify the user control specs file to restore
    \nthe old gains and\/or feedback variable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

    update_user_specs<\/strong> user_ctrl_specs.def loop_name_FB BOTH WRITE
    \nThe preceding specifies a user control specification file and feedback loop name, instructs to update both gains and the feedback variable and to modify the user control specification file with the new gains and feedback variable.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

    This program uses a temporary file to modify the specification file and handles errors by logging and exiting if issues occur.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
