The above command activates a new input channel that was added to the inpt_specs.nnn file.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

\u00a0new_chan is a script that runs newchan after running cyflexlogevent. Do not use this script unless during commissioning a test cell.<\/p>\n

When the command is entered, the following happens:<\/p>\n

1. The continuous sampling on all input channels is stopped.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 The continuous sampling of input channels is restarted.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 The command ‘bld_tables’ is executed.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 The command ‘ai_specs’ is executed.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0 The command ‘fici_specs’ is executed.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0 The command ‘di_specs’ is executed.<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 The command ‘spcl_chans’ is executed.<\/p>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
