priority<\/td>\n\n

Specify the task priority.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

specfile<\/td>\n\n

Optional. Specify a specification filename. The default is\u00a0\/specs\/emcon_specs.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

ip_address<\/td>\n\n

Optional. Specify the IP address of the EMCON system to communicate through. The default is 10.1.1.2.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

port<\/td>\n\n

Optional. Specify the port for communication. The default is 4753.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

t<\/td>\n\n

Optional. Specify this flag to use TCP protocol.\u00a0 The default is UDP if neither t or u is specified.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

u<\/td>\n\n

Optional. Specify this flag to use UDP protocol. The default is UDP if neither t or u is specified.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

+c<\/td>\nOptional. Specify this flag to indicate this is a critical task to be monitored by the master scheduler.\u00a0<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The above uses the default specfile \/specs\/emcon_specs, default IP 10.1.1.2, default port 4753, using the UDP protocol, and has priority 20.<\/p>\n

emcon_comm 20 s=\/specs\/ERIC_specs i=10.1.1.100 p=5478 tcp &<\/p>\n

The above uses the specfile \/specs\/ERIC_specs, IP 10.1.1.100, port 5478, using the TCP protocol.<\/p>\n

emcon_comm 20 +c &<\/p>\n

This above uses the default specfile \/specs\/emcon_specs, default IP 10.1.1.2, default port 4753, using the UDP protocol. This task will also be monitored by the scheduler, and if this task dies, the watch_dog will die.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
