In CyFlex versions 6.0.x and newer, the history flags set in many specification files are ignored and all variables are considered to be active for compressed history logging. The result is that there will be many more variable files saved in the \/data\/compressed\/split\/ directory than in previous versions of CyFlex. This presents a problem if the \u201ccleanup\u201d specifications in the \u201cusercron\u201d specs file has the maximum number of files for the \/data\/compressed\/split directory that is less than the number of variables in the system. Most systems will have the maximum number of files set to 2000.<\/p>\n
