13: Cell Utilization

Command Purpose
allcells Generate a facility wide utilization report
allcells3 This program will produce a report for all test cells. The report covers one day and it reports the time since the cell was last running, the 7-day running utilization, the 24 hour utilization, and the number of hours run on first shift and 2nd/3rd combined.
allcells5 This program produces a weekly utilization report which is similar to the “allcells” program except that it accounts for engine changes within the interval. Each engine change will be treated as if it was a separate test cell. A change of PP# is treated as an engine change as well as an “occ_start” log.
allcells_BAK This program will produce a report for all test cells. The report covers one day and reports the time since the cell was last running, the 7-day running utilization, 24 hour utilization, whether it was running at 4pm and 10pm, and the number of hours run on first shift and 2nd/3rd combined.
allcells_fuel Generate a facility wide utilization report
allmet Generate a facility wide utilization report
allMTC This program will produce a report for all test cells.
alloc_sig

This program allocates shared memory area for signal variables and sets the SIG_MEM_SEM semaphore.

allwork Generate a facility wide utilization report
all_sites_info

This utility runs on the central server which includes the /data/cell_map_location.`site_name` files for several sites, such as CTC,CIC,CTCC, etc.

floger Start a fast data logging operation
getAstStat13 The ‘getAstStat13’ application does a “node link” type of operation to fetch certain variables from all CyFlex test cells.
getAstStatGen Establish virtual communication to a shared memory server on a remote node to fetch specified CyFlex variables.
gp_utl Display table of test cell utilization data
hrmeter This command is used only on the utilization node (45 in CTC). It is used to initialize the value of an hourmeter, typically for a non-CyFlex test cell.
kw_report

Generate a facility wide utilization report for absorbing/motoring work

metrlogall

This program is used for utilization monitoring. It is run only on the utilization node (45 at CTC). It should be launched from the the /cell/go.scp script.

metrlogcell

This program is used for utilization monitoring. It should be launched from the /cell/go.scp script in each CyFlex test cell.

msu_clear_states The “msu_clear_states” utility creates a utl.TCN.timestamp file in /data/utl/ready/TCN containing the state change specified
msu_set The msu_set utility creates a utl.TCN.timestamp file in /data/utl/ready/TCN containing the state change specified
NFS_write Copy a file to an NFS directory.
parse_meterlog

This program is used to subdivide the data in the /data/meters/meterlog.NNN files into separate files based on the year. It only needs to be run once per year and can be done so manually or can be cron’d.
