emons

Purpose:

Monitor ASC events and write event content to the screen.

Enter:

emons <eventname1> <eventname2> …

Where:

eventname1

Specify the first event name to monitor.

eventname2

Specify the second event name to monitor..
A maximum of 20 events may be specified.

Example:

emons pierburg_cmd pierburg_rsp
The above command prints the contents of the events ‘pierburg_cmd’ and ‘pierburg_rsp’ when they are received.

Notes:

Any event may be monitored using this command. The program limits the event message to 255 bytes. Once received, the event message is displayed following the event name on the monitor. If the message is not made up of printable ascii characters, the output will appear to be garbage.
