save_status

Purpose:

Save CyFlex variables on disk.

Enter:

save_status &

Where:

N/A

Example:

Notes:

This command writes critical CyFlex variables to disk so that they may be restored when CyFlex is restarted. The variable values are then written to the /data/save_parameters file every hour, and when a slay_stuff is done. There are several variables that are always saved. The user may specify variables to be saved. The variables that are always saved are:

– engine hours
– test hours
– cell hours
– counter input channels (if available)
– test cycles (if available)

Any additional variables that have been specified via the ‘save_list’ command will also be saved. The additional variables are restored via the command ‘rstr_save_dat’ while the variables that are always saved are restored automatically.

This command is normally spawned via the go script.
