The dos2unix utility converts plain text files in DOS/MAC format to UNIX format

When a file is created/edited on a Windows machine and transferred to and used on a Linux machine the dos2unix utility MUST be run on the file on the Linux machine.

The dos2unix utility converts plain text files in DOS/MAC format to UNIX format.

To install the dos2unix utility the following command should be run:
sudo yum install dos2unix
